Ground pork 0.5 lb Soy sauce 1 tbl spoon
Shrimp chopped 0.5 lb White pepper 1 tbl spoon
Wonton wraps 1 lb / ~35 wraps Chinese cooking wine 1 tbl spoon
Scallions 5 strands Sesame oil 1 tbl spoon
Ginger 1 sm pc. Water 3/4 cup
Cabbage chopped 4 oz Salt To taste
Eggs 1 egg Sugar 1 tbl spoon

Description

Making the Filling

  1. Chop the scallions and ginger into tiny pieces.
  2. Mix into a bowl with ground pork, chopped shrimp, soy sauce, cooking wine, white pepper, salt, and sugar.
  3. Stir with chopsticks in one direction; slowly add some water and continue stirring.
  4. Add sesame oil to the mixture and continue stirring with chopsticks.
  5. Add chopped cabbage and one egg in the bowl.
  6. Keep on mixin’!

Folding the Wontons

  1. Put the wonton wrapper into the center of your palm and add stuffing.
  2. Fold in half along the diagonal to create a triangle,
  3. Dab one of the filling-side corners of the triangle with water.
  4. Bring the two corners together and seal.
